Regent is the result of a five-year project to produce a fullbodied wine that could dispel the criticism often levelled at English reds of being 'a bit thin and weedy'. It's a juicy, accessible red with plum and cherry on the nose. In the mouth it's medium-bodied, sweet fruited and fairly supple enhanced by gentle oak.
