Aged for three years in large oak barrels, from traditional Provençal grapes, it has a lovely deep red colour and rich weighty body. New owner Matthieu de Wulf's estate is one of only 23 in the region to have been awarded Cru Classé status. An aristocratic wine at a plebeian price. Grape varieties: Cinsault/Grenache/Mourvedre/Syrah Rich and at the same time silky tannins, with hints of blackcurrant, blackberry and pepper. Exceptional. GUIDE DUSSERT-GERBER DES VINS DE FRANCE. SILVER MEDAL - AVIGNON 2004 12.5% Also available as half bottle - see Half Bottles Department.
