The Villaviciosa vineyards are in the mountains near Cordoba and are therefore not eligible for the denominacion de origen of Jerez (Sherry), although the wine is made in the classic Flor method. Amber in colour with a delicate almond flavour, it's light on the palate and has a clean dry fino style. Excellent as an apéritif or with tapas.
