A light to medium red from the SE fringes of the southern Rhône, which takes it name from the Mont Ventoux the mountain dominating the region. It's a nice light garnet colour, with raspberries and fig jam on the nose. The tannins are soft and the wine is supple and quite juicy. An easy refreshing style that's best drunk young and can even be served cool (though never chilled).
