We?ve turned to the gifted Albet i Noya team for our first pink sparkler (as opposed to champagne). Made traditionally, in exactly the same way as champagne; the date of disgorgement is shown on the back label. Bottle ageing for at least 18 months follows. The Pinot Noir vines were planted in 1990 and their fruit has been crafted here into a rather masculine style of rosé. It's full coloured, a good deep crimson-pink; full-flavoured, ripe cherries and blackcurrants; and full throttle. not in terms of alcoholic strength but a thrilling and lasting ride for the taste buds. A very accomplished wine.
