Black-cherry red in colour with attractive blue-purple highlights; the nose is of black cherries and red fruit, with a distinctly berryish character. It's ripe and juicy, with typically light and elegant raspberry and blackcurrant style fruit flavours. The acidity is (typically for the Loire) firm but not intrusive, with light, supple tannins.
