A worthy partner to our Lignum Blanc, this Catalan Negre (red) shows characteristic Albet I Noya elan. It's young with some fresh acidity and nice raspberry and raspberry leaf fruit. There's good concentration - the grapes are grown on the oldest part of the vineyards where the soil is poorest. Grape varieties: Garnacha/Cariñena/Cabernet Sauvignon 13.5% COMMENDED - INTERNATIONAL WINE CHALLENGE 2005
