A weightier style of (unfiltered) white Burgundy from the higher south-east facing vineyards of Meuilley, close to Nuits-Saint-Georges. Like the Bourgogne Blanc its fermented and aged in oak sur lie - in this case for 12 months. The Hautes Côtes de Nuits is, as you'd expect, a little more intense but with the same characteristically clean and elegant style and a nice, lingering citrus-edged finish. Grape varieties: Chardonnay 12.5%
