Will Davenport has begun to make a name for himself in English wine-making. His organic dry white from the heart of Kent has a nice clean fruity/aromatic nose with hints of strawberries and summer flowers. the initial impression in the mouth is similar and mid-palate there are some nice zesty grapefruit flavours and Gewurztraminer-like spice. The finish borders on bone dry and is slightly minerally. A blend of five grape varieties - each picked and fermented separately to maximise the fruit style without influencing the flavours. Grape varieties: Ortega/Faber/Siegerrebe/Bacchus/Huxelrebe 11.5%
