The recent experimental planting of Sauvignon grapes by the Tessari family on their organic estate near Verona convinced them that they could produce a varietal wine of great character. Italian Sauvignon has a tendency to be dilute and unfocussed - aimless even. Not so this one with its bright and breezy aromas which do not flatter to deceive. In the mouth it's eloquent, clean and downright tasty! The finish is long and lingering and the experiment can thus be declared a resounding success. Grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc 12.5%
