Weingut Sander dates back to 1726 and was the first vineyard in Germany to fully convert to organic methods (in the 1950's). Their estate is in the Rhine Valley between Mainz and Worms. This lightish white has an intense fresh floral/grapey bouquet with gooseberry, peach and mango flavours in the mouth. There's some soft acidity and a gentle crispness on the palate. A very easy drinking and versatile German white. Grape varieties: Kerner 10.5%
