Carmenere Rose, Ventura 2006 |

Our first South American rosé (from the Curicó Valley) is coloured an attractive light cherry pink with a gentle, dry and well-balanced approach. This is a real vinified rosé with some engagingly sweet and concemtrated ripe melon flavours. Grape varieties: Carmenère 13.5% It may be made from the Carmenère grape which the Chileans have made their own but this has the purplish-red colour of raspberries and tastes of them as well, backed up with the right hint of spice. An exotic, memorable wine utterly characteristic of the New World from a reliable organic specialist. THE INDEPENDENT, 10 BEST ROSES (July 2007) COMMENDATION - INTERNATIONAL WINE CHALLENGE 2007
