This fully organic Sauternes from Nicole and Christian Ferbos is a luscious golden blend.Theirs is a small property in the village of Preignac, one of the five recognised Sauternes communes and said to produce the most floral style of wine, which they converted to organic methods in 1994. It's irresistible - wonderfully apricotty, rich and honeyed with delightful vanilla and marshmallow hints arising from 6 months in new oak barriques. Great with most puddings (but not chocolate), blue cheese and pâtés.
