Moonlight Shiraz, Moonlight Chenin and Moonlight Shiraz Rose
A well-balanced selection from a Fairtrade winery in South Africa. The Shiraz has a lovely red-brick colour with spiciness on the nose. It's a smooth, very easy-drinking wine, despite its relative strength. In the mouth, ripe raspberry flavours, gentle tannins and pepper/cinnamon notes. The Chenin is clean and fresh. A very accessible example of this modern style of wine, deftly balancing crisp acidity with ripe fruit flavours. The Shiraz Rose has an enticing ruby colour with luscious aromas of strawberry and Kir Royale. Sweet ripe Shiraz fruit at the beginning develops into a solid, dry and refreshing rosé with characteristic spicy hints. Fruity yet dry ? and delicious chilled.
