A hugely popular red wine from Bernard Wilkie's Adelaide Plains estate, showing cherry plum characters on the nose and subtle chocolate overtones. The palate is packed with intense blackcurrant and mixed berry flavours accompanied by soft vanilla tannins. Quite a rich and complex wine with good length and balance and a firm dry finish that will mellow. Fantastic value for an Australian organic red.Screwcap closure. Grape varieties: Cabernet/Merlot 12.5% Amber, light floral, leafy freshness, herby notes. Good fruit. Dried apricot. THE WORLD's BEST WINES 2006. BRONZE MEDAL - INTERNATIONAL WINE CHALLENGE 2006
