The Fasoli brothers have championed organic viticulture for many years and have helped other small farmers to convert to organic methods. As their business has developed they have bought in organic grapes both to boost production and to develop new products like their stylish and beautifully presented Prosecco Frizzante, the latest addition to their ‘Corte del Pozzo’ range.

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico ‘La Corte del Pozzo’ DOC
The temporary unavailability of the Amarone Alteo had a silver lining – the opportunity to bring Fasoli’s newly signed ‘suber sub’ onto the field of play. Made from the same blend of grapes, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks before barrel ageing for 3-4 years. Careful monitoring of each barrique enables rich and alcoholic impact it quickly reveals its red fruit, plum, clove and (hint of) cinnamon flavours. Unsurprisingly full in the mouth and long on the finish, it’s as delicious with red meats and parmesan style hard cheeses as it is with biscuits and cheese. Sip and savour …
