An architect by training, Jacqueline André is now the warm heart and soul of this family vineyard in Courthezon. The Andrés had grown grapes and vegetables for several generations, but it was her father Pierre (whose name the label still bears) who made wine-making feasible by buying 14 hectares in 1940. The winery and cellars are in the middle of the village, the vineyards around its perimeters.
