Stellar Organics

The Stellar Fairtrade Workers Trust is a forum for workers and manages the income from fairly traded wines as well as community projects. Stellar processes organic grapes from 5 farms straddling the Olifants River region and Namaqualand. It’s the largest producer of organic wines in South Africa with several national ‘firsts’ including Fairtrade accreditation (2003) and the production of ‘no sulphur added’ wines.
Organic vineyard size 270 hectares. Organic since 2001.
