Castello di Tassarolo
The Spinolas, one of Europe’s oldest families, are traceable to the 9th century. Massimiliana Spinola took over the estate (and castle!) on the death of her father and immediately applied bio-dynamic methods.

Monferrato Rosso ‘Cuvée’ No Sulphur Added, Castello di Tassarolo DOC
This elegant and medium-bodied red is produced without the addition of any sulphur, from grapes grown using biodynamic methods.
Ripe, soft and locally traditional Barbera grapes have been skillfully blended with some Cabernet Sauvignon which lends weight and backbone.
The result is balanced, expressive and smooth.
