About as classic as Alsatian Pinot Gris gets! Rich, full-bodied and powerful, with a dense core of complex crystallised mango and citrus peel, all wrapped up in a delicious spicy overcoat. You’ll find elements of star anise, ginger and honey amid the fruit and minerals, and a little residual sugar makes this a wonderful partner for curries as it can cope with a little chilli heat. But don’t stop there – get out your heartiest cheese board and marvel at what a great cheeseboard wine this is too. Sumptuous!
