Perlage, based in Soligo (‘sunny place’), Veneto have always been principally a producer of high quality Prosecco. For many years we bought their likeable fizz in very small quantities assuring them that one day its time would come (as indeed it very much now has). They are innovators in the field with first biodynamic, then no sulphur added, and then screwcap Proseccos being made available.

Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry ‘Col di Manza’ DOCG
This charmer is made from specially selected grapes, grown biodynamically in the Col di Manza. This is where the painter Titian, inspired by the beauty of the place, bought an ancient house. Vinified using the charmat method, its classified as an extra dry Prosecco (but dont be fooled this category is less dry than Brut). It’s pale straw in colour with floral aromas and flavours of ripe apple and citrus. The overall effect is harmonious, fairly rich and rewarding. Best as an aperitif or with white meats, or pasta with delicate sauces.
