Back in the day the Loire Valley was the source of four or five Cabernet Franc based reds in our range. But tastes change and these were gradually de-listed. Tastes keep changing though and there’s now demand for this type of light and fresh wine once again. The grapes are hand-picked and de-stemmed to promote fruitiness and avoid the bitter astringency of some wines from the region. We’ve opted for a more mature, fuller bodied vintage here that’s generous, supple and full of raspberry fruit.
