The dynamic Andrew Peace has become a big name in Australian wine-making, widely respected for the quality and consistency of even his high volume wines. For this organic project grapes were sourced from Matt Goodison in Victoria close to Australia’s 150º East Meridian. In a country where organic wine making tends to the higher-priced ‘boutique’ end of the scale, this classic pair offers great value for money.

Shiraz ‘East Meridian’, Andrew Peace
A classic Australian red – warm, well-rounded and fairly powerful. This wine has been made with organic grapes grown in the Goodison family vineyards in Woorinen, Victoria, close to Australia’s 150º East Meridian. A deep red-purple colour, with vanilla, berried fruit and plenty of spice on the nose. The palate is full and rich with ripe dark fruit flavours, white pepper, delicate oak and soft tannins. A wine that suits richer food such as vegetable casseroles, red meats and mild curries, as well as drinking nicely on its own. Although drinking well now it shows plenty of tannin and complexity that bode well for a maturation of a good 2-4 years.
