If there are any items out of stock we sometimes substitute with an item of similar style and quality, if they are going to be out of stock for a while.
If you do NOT wish for any substitutions and would like us to contact you regarding substitutions, please make a note of this while placing your order and we will either phone or email you.
Vintages shown are correct to the best of our knowledge. Where we have shown two or more vintages (e.g. 20015-16) we will move to the latter vintage when stocks of the former have run out. Occasionally, high demand and low availability of particular wines can lead to unexpected further changes of vintage. If you require a specific vintage please make this clear when placing your order. If we are unable to supply it we will contact you.
The style of the wine is described as:
1-9 for whites, where 1 is the driest and 9 the sweetest.
A-E for reds, where A is the lightest and E is the fullest.
A full case of wine, juice, cider (75cl) or spirits is counted as a dozen bottles.
You can mix the cases as you wish. Beers and ciders (33cl, 35.7cl, 50cl and 55cl) are sent as cases of one type, either in 20’s or 24’s depending on the product.
The prices shown include VATat 20%. The prices shown on Trade accounts excludes VAT at 20%.
The price of any product will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.
Our site contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced.
We will normally verify prices at the time of invoicing so if a product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you.
If a product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you before dispatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.
We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a dispatch confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised as a mis-pricing.
You can pay online when submitting your electronic order or you can place your order over the phone (0113 244 0002) and pay with your card details. We accept most cards.
Payment will be taken automatically at the time the order is placed and we will advise you as soon as possible if your order will be delayed for any reason.
After you have placed your order, we’ll send you an email confirming receipt of your order. You will receive a separate email confirming your online payment.
Please check your order on arrival and let us know as soon as possible if there is anything broken that you did not order or missing. We will sort the problem out without fuss and as soon as possible, although on occasion we may request a photograph if the wrong product has been delivered.
If you have not received your order by the date you have been told to expect it or within 10 days after placing it, please let us know. Please be sure to order in plenty of time before Christmas as delays are expected at this time of year.
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
